Theories Guiding Distance Teaching

Social Constructivism
This is one of the the theories that relates to distance teaching.  It proposes that social context affects learning.  Peer group discussion is promoted by this theory.

Taylor Series

One series that I consider interesting and very helpful is the Taylor Series.  This series is defined for a continuous infinitely differentiable function about the point "a" as above.
